rosa. police say 23-year-old glen harris brought the women to santa rosa and 25-year-old jerome martin is accused of helping him do it. police started investigating the men after responding to a domestic violence call. they organized the sting operation at a local hotel using information that one of the women posted on the internet. police have arrested a woman in connection with a hit and run that killed a bicyclist in oakland over the weekend. officers found the victim on parolta street around 10:20 saturday night. the driver returned to the scene a few hours later and was taken into custody. investigators have not told us the names of either the victim or driver. >>> time now 6:25. despite recent cut backs the concerns about accreditation city college of san francisco is planning to double its classing. more than 989 classes will be offered. the extra classes are being paid for by money from proposition 30. enrollment management was one of the area of criticism the city college received. a final decision on the school's accreditation could come in june. >>> oakland american i

santa rosa. in the 60s the current temperatures. forecast for tonight we'll go with this, fair skies and a breeze and tomorrow we'll gradually thicken up the cloud cover and tuesday, wednesday, fairly good chance of more rain showers, not a big deal, not the much needed significant rain we need but still, showers moving into the region. first thing tomorrow morning, partly cloudy and temperatures on the cool side upper 30s to 40s. san francisco 48 and fremont 45 and starting out sunday or monday morning 44. here is the next storm tracking out here in the pacific developing and by the time it gets to the bay area it will split. we don't expect extreme rain but tomorrow it's dry but you'll notice filtered sunshine throughout the day tomorrow and mild conditions. tuesday the system is close enough to bring in more clouds, chance of scattered showers and off on on tuesday into wednesday especially for the wednesday morning commute. here is our forecast model. we'll take this into monday morning at 8:00. partly cloudy and clouds filter in by 4:00 and by 5:00 still dry and look what

north bay. we have about a half mile visibility reported in santa rosa. these numbers have been going in and out. you want to travel cautiously. you might have to use your windshield wipers. not expecting the main event to arrive until later on this week. we have two storm systems coming through. the first one, the tail end is going to come through. a very weak system. by about 4:00 p.m., a little isolated activity. we stop that clock for you again tomorrow morning. a better chance for those showers specially along the coastline in sop owe ma county and marin county. not expecting anything heavy potentially until thursday. that's when we will start to citi a little bit of push from the area of low pressure. a little more activity thursday morning through 1:00 p.m. boom. we clear out just in time to start friday. however, late friday, saturday, sunday, we see a cut-off low. the very description of a dut k-off low is that it is cut off from the jetstream. it has nothing to transport it. it is really hard to tell where the showers will end up and how long it will last before it fizzles out.

, people like rosa parks, caesar chavez, people that we know and are familiar with, along with people that we are not that familiar with but have made some great contributions. today we thought we would take this opportunity to celebrate an icon of san francisco. the brown twin sisters have been with us for many decades. mary is here today, she's here in celebration and memory of her sister as we all are and we want to take this opportunity to use the arbor day to have a cedar tree, a tree that will grow taller than mary or i. it will grow to be a hundred feet tall. it will be a tree that will be celebrated here in san francisco for generations to come and we thought it would be not only appropriate, but we thought it would be our honor by planting this tree in recognition of vivian and her wonderful contributions to our city. and we are especially blessed with maryann honoring us with her presence. it's not that easy for her to get around these days but she has and continues to be part of an incredible twin sisters. but now she's also missing vivian as much as we are and we felt this

north bay and half an inch in santa rosa and san jose a little bit and .1" in oakland and concord, and in the east bay hills the rain is moving through berkeley hills and rain is falling in mountain view at quarter of an inch and hayward and napa and san bruno at .04". it is moving from north to south across the bay area. clearing and cooler tonight with the air near eureka and a chance of rain possible next week. here is a look at a warm core moving through last night and now the cold front is coming through, the last push of the 1-2 system bringing us the final round of rain today. there is a boundary moving through the north bay and we will focus the study rain as it moves through, now until 3:00 or 4:00 in the south bay and the cold front comes through in the evening hour and moisture that is left will squeeze out in isolated shower. behind it you can see headed to thursday morning clear with patchy fog developing and the breezes kick in. notice how quickly it chases the clouds away from us and sunshine breaks out for thursday afternoon. hoping for up to .25" to .5" more rain
